As fashion-forward as I am, I believe designers Marc Jacobs and Antonio Berardi have taken innovative stilettos a step too far (ahem, where’s the heel?). A better trend to follow is the classic ballet flat (to be worn outside the studio). Create your own at Steve Madden; mix and match to make your ideal base and bow color combo. Replenish your soles and they will thank you when you really do need to work those arches.
