Antboogie on Foot Working
Antboogie | October 23, 2009

Hey there! What's up everyone? My name is Antboogie, and I’m the founder of a group called the AmountBoyz. Some of you might have of heard of us, if not, you’ll get to know us later. For now, I would like to introduce you to my friends: The Footworkingz! They recently made it to the top 20 on “America's Got Talent,” and they’ve also made cameo's in numerous television shows.

When I toured with Madonna on the Sticky and Sweet tour, two of the FWK's were on board with me. King Charles and Prince Jaron are the two members responsible for introducing me to the world of Chicago foot working. This dance style is here to stay! It has loads of flavor, foundation and can be used in choreography (which I will show you later).

On October 3rd, they dropped their first official DVD showcasing the roots and the different crews that battle it out in the Chicago foot working scene. What I also love about the style is that it's deeply rooted in battling. Their battle scene has helped to evolve the movements and sophistication of the dance. They have generations of crews like Creation, Havoc, 187 and Heat Squad, who represent different parts of the city. I’m going to keep you guys updated on the Foot Workingz but for now here is a link to their DVD trailer.
