At just 14 years old, Brittany Hine has become a sensation in the competition world. Brittany, who dances at Dolce Dance Studio in Fresno, CA, is blowing away judges and audiences alike with her crazy control and technique. And did we mention that she can turn? Brittany’s record so far is 14 consecutive pirouettes! She’s also the queen of illusions (a notoriously challenging inverted trick): “Once, for fun, I did 19 illusions in a row,” Brittany says.

So what are the keys to her pirouetting power? Setting goals and having fun. “Every year I challenge myself to be able to do two additional pirouettes,” Brittany says. “I like having a goal to work toward.” And she doesn’t psych herself out. “When I’m about to do a turn sequence, I don’t think about it,” she says. “I just go!” Want to see Brittany in action?
