PSA: Juliet Doherty's Movie Is Streaming on Netflix

January 22, 2019

We repeat: Ballet goddess Juliet Doherty‘s movie Driven to Dance is streaming on Netflix. Right now.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

If that title doesn’t sound familiar to you, it’s because this film was FKA On Pointe. We’ve been buzzing about the project ever since we first heard about it back in 2017. At that point, its directors were raising funds on Kickstarter so they could complete the movie. And now it’s available on one of the biggest streaming platforms in the world. Because, as the smart people at Netflix realized, the world needs more Juliet Doherty being beautiful.

Driven to Dance
follows Paige (Doherty), a young dancer who hopes to join a big-name ballet company. Despite Paige’s obvious talent, her mother, Lynda, isn’t supportive of her dance dreams; Lynda wants Paige to follow a more conventional path. Drama ensues—and so does some very, very pretty dancing.

Bye, y’all—we’ll be Netflix-and-chilling over here for a bit.
