Dior Put Dancers On the Runway—And We're OBSESSED
Guys, this may just be the fashion/dance collab to end all fashion/dance collabs.
ICYMI, Dior presented their Spring 2019 collection at Paris Fashion Week, which continues through October 3rd. But models weren’t the only ones walking the runway—an entire ensemble of modern dancers (not to mention tons of dreamy dance-inspired looks) took to the catwalk, as well.
The dancers performed a gorgeous piece by Sharon Eval (who danced with Batsheva Dance Company for decades before starting her own company) and, tbh, it’s almost just too much for our dance and fashion loving hearts to bear. IT’S THAT GOOD.
Inspired by female trailblazers, the show, led by Maria Grazia Chiuri, also featured quotes from some of the dance world’s leading ladies at the entrance:
Long story short, it was a completely flawless and entirely respectful tribute to dance and its icons (are you listening other major fashion brands?!) and you need to watch the whole thing right this very second. (The dancing really gets started around the 6 minute mark.)
