Coming to NYC This Summer? Here's How to See the Best of Broadway—for Free
Every good trip to NYC should include a Broadway show (or three!), and there are a TON of brilliantly dancy musicals to see right now. But Bway tix can be expensive, especially on a dancer’s budget. Which is why we are allll about Broadway in Bryant Park, the annual event that brings some of the greatest stuff happening on the Great White Way to the great outdoors—for free.
Every Thursday from July 12th to August 16th at 12:30 pm, the program will host a performance featuring musical numbers from top Broadway and Off-Broadway shows in the iconic midtown park. The 2018 lineup includes lot of dance-filled standouts, like SpongeBob SquarePants, Once on This Island, Frozen, and the ever-classic Chicago. If you’re in town, get your booty to Bryant Park (the stage is at 6th Avenue between 40th and 42nd Streets) to see them in action!
