Attention All Balletomanes!

Three variations and 48 dancers will kick off the 10th New York International Ballet Competition in early June 2009. But before participants are chosen and the madness can begin, dancers (ages 17–23 for women and 18–24 for men) interested in taking a shot at the medals, cash awards and one-year contract with ABT and the Joffrey Ballet must present an application by January 17, 2009. In order to be considered, the submission should include photos, a DVD of a classical ballet variation, a biography and letters of recommendation, so start gathering your materials now!
