Congrats to ABT's Joseph Gorak!

It’s wonderful when our favorite dancers get the critical recognition they deserve. But the kind of recognition that comes with money—real, serious money? In a way, that’s even better. Because as incredible as this profession can be, it ain’t making anyone rich. (Well, it’s making very few people rich, at least.)

Today, the Leonore Annenberg Fund announced the 2015 winners of its Performing and Visual Arts Fellowship, which gives emerging artists $50,000 a year for up to two years. On the list? American Ballet Theatre soloist Joseph Gorak. And oh my goodness, there could not be a more worthy dancer. Have you seen him? His feet alone deserve a prize. And he’s more than just a perfect ballet body—he happens to be a beautiful artist, too.

Congratulations, Mr. Gorak! Now I’m going to admit that happy as this news made me, this blog is essentially an excuse to post a bunch of gorgeous photos of Joey in action. Without further ado:
