In other news, is it just me or does it seem like dance is absolutely EVERYWHERE these days?! I’m loving it. This weekend I noticed that even MTV has jumped on the bandwagon. Last year the popular “music” television channel entered the dance world with “Dancelife” (if you loved it–and who didn’t?!–be sure to get your hands on our November issue with Jersey on the cover). This weekend I was very pleasantly surprised to see that MTV was airing a “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 2 marathon! What could be better? I watched the majority of the marathon intently, like I didn’t know who was going to win in the end (a small part of me hoped it would miraculously be Travis this time around!). I had forgotten how attached I was to the dancers that season… Allison was my personal fave, but it was so great to watch them all dance together again. Remember the amazing chemistry between Allison and Ivan when they danced to NeYo’s “SexyLove” and they kissed behind the umbrella? Or Heidi and Travis’s “Calling You” routine? And Benji, adorable Benji… Anyway, my point here is that dance is unavoidable and I’m so excited to be seeing it everywhere, even on MTV!
