"DWTS: Juniors" Week 5 Recap: Juniors Choice
This week the kids of “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” got to take charge of their performances: They got choose the songs they performed to AND were also given a lot more say in the creative process of their routines. Many of their choices were rather surprising, but it was fun to see these pint-size performers put their own stamp on their pieces—after all, that’s how dancers become artists.
Mandla Morris and Brightyn Brems gave the performance of the night in one of the best cha cha routines of the season. Dancing to the hit song “Perm” by Bruno Mars, Mandla and Brightyn brought all the sass and flair, reminding us why they continually receive high scores from the judges. These two know how to put on a show. Mandla’s technique and showmanship continues to improve and we loved that he really let his personality shine in this number. The top-notch dance landed the couple a score of 25/30, and if these two keep bringing it like this, we have a strong feeling we’ll be seeing them in the Top 3.
