"GLEE" Hits All the Right Notes!

Calling all triple threats! The television show you’ve always dreamed of has arrived: “Glee.” This musical comedy, premiering Sept. 16 on FOX, follows a hopeful Spanish teacher as he takes on McKinley High School’s biggest challenge—coaching the Glee Club. The star-studded cast is stacked with Broadway alums, including Matthew Morrison (Hairspray) and Spring Awakening’s Lea Michele and Jenna Ushkowitz, as well as familiar TV faces like Jayma Mays (“Ugly Betty”) and Kevin McHale (“Zoey 101”).

The show is an edgy High School Musical meets American Pie, where the school jock (Cory Monteith) is bribed into joining the Glee Club but soon finds himself emotionally invested in the group—much to the dismay of his football teammates. The killer choreography (hats off to Zach Woodlee) and hit soundtrack channels that all-too-familiar performance high as you watch the show that brings you…well…glee! If you missed the sneak peek that aired this summer (we forgive you), log on to fox.com and check out our new obsession.
