You Should Know: Eden Galloway

December 20, 2016

Eden Galloway may have won Mini Female Outstanding Dancer at the 2016 New York City Dance Alliance Nationals, but her talent is anything but miniature. Not only does she have the technique necessary to clinch a national title, but this contemporary queen also has musicality and presence beyond her years (all 11 of them). Her fierce gaze zeroes in on the audience, while her isolations punctuate the rhythm and her jumps eat up space.

Galloway has been dancing since she was 2, and currently trains at Center Stage Dance Studio in Asheville, NC, under Michele Lee. “I’m so proud of working hard, believing in myself and winning the NYCDA title,” Galloway says, “but the coolest experience dance has brought me is the ability to make friends in different states and time zones.”
