Miami Audition

Calling modern dancers!  Miami-based Momentum Dance Company is looking for 2 male and 2 female dancers.  There will be auditions on May 26 at the Miami Conservatory (5818 SW 73rd St, South Miami) at 1:30 pm.  According to AD Delma Iles, “We are looking for advanced level modern dancers with a strong ballet background. Experience in jazz, improvisation, any of the African-derived dance forms, and children’s theater is a plus.”  They are also nly accepting dancers 18 and older.  For the audition, expect an advanced ballet class and modern combinations.  The positions are paid, part-time. The company perfoms its diverse repertoire in over 60 shows per year in Florida and during their international tours.  For more information, check out momentumdance.com.
