Eleven-year old Hayden Hopkins performs “Captivated,” choreographed by Tiffany Miles Brook, with precocious technique. Her talents–including flexibility, controlled (and many) turns, and elevation in her jumps–are indicative of natural physical ability while her apparent joy in performing, musicality, and sense of reach and lyricism suggest deep artistic potential. Hopkins demonstrates a keen sense of detail in her posture and the precision of her steps. It will be exciting to watch her mature and grow deeper connections to music and her core. We can expect many beautiful performances. Congratulations Hayden!
