The Dirt: Kaitlin Kiyan

November 30, 2009

If you’re a Broadway baby, you’ve probably dreamt of nabbing a gig on the Great White Way right out of high school. The adorable and über-talented Kaitlin Kiyan upped the ante: She earned her first job before she even graduated! A Hawaii native, this 19-year-old moved to NYC five years ago to attend the renowned LaGuardia Performing Arts High School. In her senior year, she auditioned for the Shakespeare in the Park production of the groovy hit Hair. She earned the gig—and her first professional credit. When the show transferred to Broadway, Kaitlin made the move with the tribe. Read on to hear more from this standout newcomer. —Lauren Kay
